Focus mode strips the window down to the text you’re writing — no navigator, no panels, just the page.
Entering and leaving
Toggle focus mode from the view menu or its keyboard shortcut. Everything fades away except the editor; toggle again to bring the workspace back exactly as you left it.
Typewriter scrolling
In focus mode the line you’re writing stays centered on screen, so your eyes rest in one place instead of drifting to the bottom of the window as you type.
When to use it
Focus mode pairs well with a word-count goal for a timed drafting sprint — set a target, disappear into the page, and check your progress when you resurface.
